Black Soldier Fly larvae, native to the southeast, consume post consumer food and food that is contaminated with plastic and non organic material. They have a unique way of eating around the contamination and sorting it.

Red Wiggler Worms are great at consuming partially composted food waste. Worm castings are a delicacy for plant life.
